These are fishermen and their craftsmanship back in the town where I grew up. They are tough men living tough lives everyday. They face the cold wind and dare the big waves. Their skin is burned by the sun and wrinkled by the salt. Their fingers are calloused but still gentle enough to mend their nets and thread their hooks. They craft and knit too, in their own special way. This is how I will always remember my people: hardworking, humble, fearless.
